Counselling

Debbie is a member of the British Association of Counsellors psychotherapists (BACP)

Debbie specialises in counselling women as clients, drawing on over 20  years of working with women on issues such as Domestic violence, addictions, self-harm, self-esteem issues, personal development and relationship difficulties

Debbie supports her clients to explore feelings and emotions that are often related to their life experiences. This allows her clients time to reflect on what is happening to them and consider alternative ways of doing things.

Debbie works in a confidential setting and listens attentively to her clients, she offers time, empathy and respect in expressing feelings and supports individuals to understand themselves more fully and look at life from a different perspective.

The aim of counselling is to reduce confusion and to develop coping strategies with challenges being faced, and to make positive changes in your life were necessary.

Debbie does not give advice but helps her female clients to make their own choices and take responsibility for their own life, within the framework of an agreed counselling contract.
